What I Offer
I am an Equine Bodyworker (EEBW) and apply a holistic osteopathic approach to my work, looking at the horse as a whole and addressing not just the muscles and skeleton but fascia, organs and the energy of the body.
My aim is to ensure the body can move as freely and as comfortably as possible and I will consider all factors both within and external to the horse.
I use a combination of massage, physiotherapy and stretching techniques along with fascial release, mobilisation and energy work. These therapy techniques can help to improve and maintain athletic performance and physical comfort, keep muscles and the function of the body healthy and provide overall wellbeing for horses across all disciplines.
I can help if you feel there is something just ‘not quite right’, if you’ve noticed a change in your horse’s movement or behaviour, if your vet has recommended physical therapy, or as a way of ensuring your horse's ongoing wellbeing. Often physical discomfort can be displayed through a change of movement or in behaviour and can be a sign that something in the body is no longer in balance.
